Triphala means three fruits. It is an Ayurvedic tea made from three fruits. Triphala is very rich in antioxidants and is a rejuvenate compound. It is anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and has antiviral abilities. It is recommended in Ayurveda for strengthening the immune system, improving the eyes, promoting oral health, and reducing blood sugar, fatigue, gastric distress and support in cancer and AIDS. Triphala has been studied in the laboratory and tested on animals, but not extensively on humans.
Usage: Steep one tea bag in 1/2 cup (125ml) of boiling water for 2-3 minutes. Use once or twice a day.
